The Finale
by Suhaila Usuludin ~ February 29th, 2008. Filed under: Archived, Fieldwork, School. Now, I can safely say that my academic years in NYP has ended. Today marks the last day of my final clinical placement in an acute hospital in Singapore. I was having bittersweet feelings as I felt quite sad to leave that wonderful place, but happy at the same time as it has ended. I guess it’s human nature.
Well, to mark this day, I took several photos with the staff that I have always been working with, day in day out. They are the therapy assistant and the physiotherapist in the Neurogym. I will not post the photos here as I do not have their permissions to have their faces in WWW.
After working hours, several OTs joined us for the farewell dinner at Swensens in IMM. I was and still am very touched by their presence. Thank you all for your guidance you have given me in one way or another. As for my clinical supervisor, although you have been naggy at times, it works for me. I wish you all the best for your career and congratulations on your upcoming marriage!
This is definitely one of the best clinical placements in my entire OT education. What a good closure of my school life!

I miss the people there.
