Student Conference 2008

It was a day to mark the end of our Final Year Project journey. Well, maybe except for the report that is due next week. The Best Paper prize was the Falls group whose paper focused on the adapting the Australian Falls Prevention Programme into local context. For theirs, it has been piloted in a nursing home whereby they spread the message through various means. I am glad that they won as I predicted their winning too! Congrats Joseph, Eunice, Crystal and Sarah! They will also be presenting to the SHS Student Conference this year.
As for my presentation, it went pretty well. The Q and A section was scary. Sadly, I mistook one question and unanswered irrelevantly. Luckily, my team mate clarified the matter immediately. It was a learning experience for all of us. Anyway, congrats to all of us who had endured this journey full of ups and downs! All of us are already winners!

Hi Diego. Nice to know you.
I’ve visited your site. It is nice to know OT students and clinicians are doing something in promoting OT to the public, or rather, the world.
Your site is pretty cool. I particularly like the news section. It will get better, with more content, as time passes by.
Anyway, thanks for visiting!
