Occupational Therapy Day Dinner 2008
by Suhaila Usuludin ~ January 13th, 2008. Filed under: Archived, Profession: Occupational Therapy.12 Jan 2008
A dinner which gathered occupational therapists and students alike. It’s the company that I was in that makes the night truly enjoyable. We arrived a little late due to the rain. Upon registering, we made our way to the table reserved for students, in which we started cam-whoring almost immediately after that.
Programme started with a small speech by one of the SAOT members, which then followed by our lecturer’s lecture. Lecture in the middle of a dinner? Well… No comments.
Soon after that, dinner started and bonding sessions began. I managed to say “Hi!” to my future supervisor who will be guiding me from next week onwards. Additionally, I caught up with Patricia and Nanthida, the 2 OTs in AWWA. I saw Mr Hee too and reminded him that I was under him for a day when I was in Year 1. I was also glad to see familiar faces of the IMH OT department.
Last but not least, I am truly happy that most of my classmates managed to attend the dinner despite our busy schedule. It was another bonding time before we set off for clinicals and soon, work or overseas studies. I love OT 0502!
Well, that’s it. Time to perform occupational form of doing my FYP report. To end it off, I would like to wish all occupational therapists a Happy OT Day!
Classmates that I will miss
