Post-Exam Rambles

Exams are over! I am just glad that the long awaited moment is over. That aside, we had our FYP Student Conference rehearsal just now. My opinions on today’s overall performance is that we are just not ready yet and we need more practise. I had to present the results as well as the discussion sections of our study (see projects). I guess more improvements can be made for my presentation skill by engaging with the audience with more eye contact. Looking at them once in a while at appropriate time would help.

Another OT update is on the upcoming and last clinical placement at an acute hospital in the West. It starts next week. I’m in the Geriatrics unit with a lot of general medicine conditions. Guess the concepts I had learnt during the Reduced Energy module will greatly help in my treatment intervention. I am looking forward to it as it is one of my area of interest. Geriatrics, here I come! :)
