Professional Portfolio and Book Review

Life as an Occupational Therapy student has never been so busy till this semester. Despite feeling very exhausted with the events going on these few weeks, I try to keep things as positive as possible. Passion for OT! Passion for OT!
By the way, I wanted to update about the Professional Portfolio that I had done for my assignment recently. I’m so delighted by the end product. With the designs and combination of colours, it truly resembles my personality! For those who need help in starting your professional portfolio, the book, titled The Professional Portfolio in Occupational Therapy: Career Development and Continuing Competence, gives you a step-by-step approach in creating your uniquely portfolio.
I find this book useful. It provides a clear instruction on how to start your portfolio from scratch. It gives plenty of real pictorial examples which are excellent in givin you ideas on your design of the portfolio. However, I feel that portfolio should give the reader an impresseion of you. So use your gut feelings, and of course the book, as guides to starting your very own portfolio. And remember to enjoy the process. It’s a fun experience when you are not rushing it for deadline. So one tip: start early. This tip can be generalised to performing other occupational forms. Hehehe!
